Prerogative - someone’s intent, to do something they want
Example: my prerogative is to secure the conservation lands

Privilege - benefits that someone has. Often in western culture, you’ll hear a lot about white privilege, whereby white people seem to have access to opportunities/resources simply because they’re white and perceived a certain way (versus minority groups).
